Mookie Betts trade to Dodgers in jeopardy as Twins weigh options

The 3-group megadeal involving Purple Sox rightfielder Mookie Betts and pitcher David Price tag could possibly be in jeopardy.

In accordance to La Velle E. Neal of the Star Tribune, the Twins are “very pessimistic about their close of a proposed three-way offer involving the Red Sox and Dodgers” and could perhaps exit the deal.

MLB Network’s Jon Heyman reports the Twins have established a deadline of Saturday to solve their section of the deal with Boston.

As portion of the proposed offer, the Dodgers would get Betts and Price tag from the Red Sox and send out pitcher Kenta Maeda to the Twins. In trade, the Red Sox would get Twins pitching prospect Brusdar Graterol and Dodgers outfielder Alex Verdugo.
