NYC jail population lowest since World War II after coronavirus releases

The jails population sat at 4,906 Thursday afternoon, he mentioned.

As of Thursday, 58 Department of Correction personnel experienced tested beneficial for coronavirus, while 73 inmates in DOC amenities were also confirmed to have the virus.
