On the similar day the Buccaneers announced the signing of Tom Brady with “TB x TB” slogan, Brady’s agents submitted to trademark it with the United States Patent and Trademark Business office (USPTO), ESPN documented.
The strategy is to use it for garments and sporting activities clothing. TB12, Brady’s business, has already begun selling “TB12 Tampa Bay” shirts on the web.
This isn’t Brady’s initially foray into a trademark request. Past June, he drew headlines — and criticism from Mets fans — for making an attempt to land the “Tom Terrific” moniker. It was, however, denied for the reason that the USPTO ruled that it belonged to Corridor of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver.
Brady should not have any this sort of problems with “TB x TB.”
