We’re Not Addressing Pensions in Future Coronavirus Bills

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “The Tale,” Senate Bulk Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) declared that the Senate will not deal with pension reform in any subsequent coronavirus expenses.

McConnell reacted to a clip of Residence Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stating that she is “ready” to tackle pensions in the upcoming coronavirus monthly bill by stating, “Well, we have a pension challenge. But it’s not related to the coronavirus. That is why it’s not in the monthly bill. The crisis costs that we might have to go in the future require to be associated to the issue. And that was a challenge here. … So, we’re not heading to use these virus reduction charges as a way to move Democratic coverage proposals. Which is not what this emergency’s about.”
